It feels like this weeks been a long one. With one week left until my first Hyrox event training has begun to taper. The month leading up hasnt been ideal for training, but I'm entered and I'm going to do my best.
Our title article this week is the ULTIMATE running warm up. This is definitely something I used to skip more often than not, opting for more recovery than preparation. That strategy isn't advisable if you want to increase your mileage or your pace. Warming up properly might be the key to unlocking an enjoyable run.
The pull buoy, a useful training aid especially now as you will be spending more time in the pool. Around 85% of your swim speed is generated by your arms. Spending time isolating your upper body can make a huge difference to your technique. Check out coach Phil's article to find out more...
