JUST ANNOUNCED

Diamond Disciplines for the 50th Pre Classic

World-class competition and entertainment returns to Hayward Field for the 50th anniversary of The Prefontaine Classic, a Wanda Diamond League meeting, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

Fans can expect the 2025 Pre Classic to include the following 14 Diamond Disciplines.

Women’s Diamond Disciplines: 100 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters, 5000 meters, 3000 meter steeplechase, Long Jump, Discus, Shot Put

Men’s Diamond Disciplines: 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, Bowerman Mile, 400 meter hurdles, Shot Put

Additional non-Diamond Discipline events will be announced in the coming months to round out the 2025 meet program.
