Male crabs, or Jimmies have distinct T-shaped apron on the underside of it's body. Also, males claws are larger and thicker than
that of a female. Female crabs, or Sooks have distinct U-shaped apron on the underside of it's body. Females have smaller and
thinner claws than males.
So next time you're out crabbing, keep these tips in mind and you'll be able to tell the difference between male and female blue
