Going from Good to Great. Your needle cartridge is calling for attention! Areas that you may be overlooking. Little things matter,
even when it comes to the tip of your needle cartridge. Although tiny, the needle tip can greatly impact the results of your
machine work. From the tip of the cartridge to the needle itself, there are factors in between that can be overlooked while
working that affect your results.

It’s important that the speed of your hand matches the speed of your machine, otherwise, the following will occur. Slow machine
speed + fast hand speed: weak pigment deposit, patchy results, skin trauma (needle catching the skin). Fast machine speed + slow
hand speed: potential for oversaturated areas, poor section blending, line-y shading. If your machine and hand speed are working
harmoniously, you’ll get even, well-blended, pixelated shading, and your clients will feel more comfortable. Depending on the
desired outcome, here’s how you can adjust your hand and machine speed. Slow machine speed + slow hand speed: pixels are compact,
closer to one another, ideal for working in smaller areas requiring more saturation or control, such as outline. Fast machine
speed + fast hand speed: pixels are sporadic, further apart from one another, ideal for shading pigment in larger sections, or
creating a softer outline. Ramona Krusinskiene demonstrates in her Airbrushed Aquarelle Lips course how variations of machine and
hand speed combinations can achieve different results using a practice skin pad – see the difference for yourself! It's important
