Trudeau going to sell your health records?

Happy Friday!
So, you may have heard about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's plans to sell your health records. But we want to let you in on a
little secret. That ain't happening. Fake news? This is an example of just that.
It began with Trudeau's meeting with all 13 of Canada's premiers to discuss a new health deal last week. Part of that discussion
was on sharing health data in an attempt to improve health outcomes across the country. But a so-called news story based on the
ramblings of a single TikTok user who, arguably, didn't know their ass from their elbow, stirred things up enough to make their
"news" seem like, well, news.
Two premiers — Saskatchewan's Scott Moe and Ontario's Doug Ford — each issued statements on the matter, denying the digital ID
claims, but the conspiracy theory isn't going to go away. But just to reiterate: No, Justin Trudeau is not coming for your health
records.

Earlier this week, Premier Doug Ford doled out some advice for the people of Toronto: Don't elect a "lefty mayor" to replace John
Tory. But what does that mean exactly?
Jamil Jivani suggests that Torontonians should identify the lefties to avoid, namely the politicians who have prioritized wokeness
over addressing class inequality. You know the ones. Those who do not represent the working class on the matter of public safety
and have not supported more or better quality policing to prevent or alleviate the ever-increasing violence in the city. Jivani,
take it away.

A community group in the Niagara region says it was already dealing with a tripling of requests for assistance from asylum seekers
long before Ottawa recently began transferring more migrants to the province from Quebec.
According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, it began transferring migrants arriving in Quebec to Ottawa and Niagara
Falls in July as Quebec's shelter system — and hotels rented by IRCC — reached capacity. And since last weekend, the transfers
have only increased.
Niagara Falls may have a large number of hotels but like many cities in the province, it lacks affordable housing. What will
happen when the Regional Municipality of Niagara reach capacity and can no longer provide accommodations for asylum seekers?

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland weighed in on the shenanigans of Toronto Mayor John Tory, saying he was right to resign
for ethical violations. But Lorrie Goldstein asks: What does she have to say about the repeated ethical violations of Justin
Trudeau? Consistency, people. That's all we want.

The Die Hard star's wife, Emma Heming Willis, his ex-wife Demi Moore, and his daughters with Moore (a.k.a. "Ladies of

many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone." And while it has been "painful," they admitted that it was "a relief to
finally have a clear diagnosis." Mark Daniell has the latest as Willis and his family receive an outpouring of love and support.
