The snail kite is a bird of prey and can be seen hunting for snails and other prey throughout the Everglades. .On February 4, the Everglades Foundation took an airboat full of Journalists out into the Everglades near Shark Valley Everglades National Park.  This was just a chance to get a look at the ecosystem. The day did not disappoint.
