The Bay Oaks fields on Fort Myers Beach has become one of the areas that houses mountains of debris being cleared from neighborhoods and streets on Fort Myers Beach. The beach was devastated in Hurricane Ian. This was documented while touring areas with Fort Myer s Beach mayor Ray Murphy on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022.  Murphy says the fields will be rebuilt.
