THE SPANISH EDITION
We spent a month comparing notes on gambas al ajillo, practicing our “thetas”, and adjusting our dinner schedule to 10pm. All in
the name of creating a guide your Spanish friends (or the ones you make at these spots) will approve of. Here’s where to go, what
to order, and the places to avoid.

The Best Spanish Restaurants In Miami
CLEVELAND JENNINGS
Miami knows its Spanish food. There are Basque, Galician, and Asturian restaurants from North Miami to Key Biscayne. One of our
favorites is even inside a gas station on US1. Luckily, there’s tons of jamon to go around.

SPANISH SPOTS YOU CAN SKIP
🛑 The tortilla at this place on Coral Way gets reheated in a microwave behind the bar.
🛑 You’ll need a straw to eat the crema catalana at this spot in Little Havana.
⚠️You can still come to this Bird Road restaurant for their baked goods and gazpacho, but the smashburgers, paellas, and “Cuban
sandwich” are a miss.
ANSWER
“Go to El Rincón Asturiano in Little Havana. It’s where you’ll find delicious traditional tapas like almejas con jamón, chorizo a
la cidra, and garbanzos fritos.”
