Hot Take: Surf Rivalries are Dead What was the (ast great rivalry in surfing? When the vitrol between two competitors could be felt from the sand? Sam George wrote today that not since Kelly and Andy has a ivalry fueled surfing. And without those fivalries, he says, competitive surfing will continue to just be - without buming white hot as it id in ts most recent heyday.
