Our Blog
Hello Everybody
The figgy pudding’s ready, the ham’s in its sticky citrus glaze and the Christmas menu is here.
Our kitchen sleighbells have been jingling with excitement for weeks! Because, however you like to gather, however you love to
feast, however you want to celebrate this year, we’ve plenty on the menu for you.
If you’re looking forward to classic Christmas dinner, we can deliver pink pepper eye fillet or chicken, cranberry and pistachio
ballotine with all the trimmings – potato gratin, French braised peas, brussels sprouts with bacon and parmesan, and traditional
gravy.
And – another Dinner Ladies’ motto to live by – there’s always room for bake-at-home fig and date pudding with brandy syrup.
Prefer to relax over a chilled lunch? Go for salmon gravlax, orange-glazed ham, plenty of salads and our raspberry, lemon curd and
raspberry tiramisu.
If you’re inviting friends in for canapes, fill your platters with our caramelised onion and goat’s cheese pinwheels with beetroot
relish, gravlax blinis, or mini sweet corn and haloumi fritters. (And check our blog for great drinks recipes)
Your turn to host the ‘exhausted but happy’ Boxing Day lunch? Serve up fennel and herb-crusted trout with quinoa, beetroot and
feta salad in pomegranate dressing.
Vegetarians at the table? They’ll celebrate when you bring out our festive-spiced filo pie with root vegetable gratin.
And if you’re looking to enjoy a mini-feast with a select few, go the juicy brined chicken or duck confit with citrus and maple
glaze, and pickled beetroot salad route.
We had originally planned on offering our citrus-brined free-range turkey buffe this year but sadly, at the very last moment our
provider had a production issue and we weren't able to get them into our kitchens in time for you. We still love our Christmas
menu and however you like to gather, we have plenty on the menu for you.
Enjoy browsing, gathering, feasting and celebrating!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Because we’re expecting a lot of orders, we’ll be preparing dinners as quickly as we can so we don’t disappoint anyone. This means
that once your order has been placed, we won’t be able to change it or the delivery details, sorry. Please order carefully – and
as quickly as possible!
On the other hand, we’re not closing the kitchen (apart from public holidays) this year. We’ll be here for you, Monday to Friday,
right through the silly season.
And, if you have Christmas queries (How long do our hams take to defrost? Does Santa like Brussels sprouts?) check out the Live
Chat feature on our website.
We’re always just an email or phone call away. Get in touch at
[email protected] or (02) 8310 6508.
