Recycle with your community See the difference recycling with TerraCycle has made in the Collingwood community: One group of volunteers has been cleaning up litter around their community since 2022. It began with two friends out for daily walks who were shocked by the amount of litter and cigarette butts they encountered. As more volunteers joined their efforts, they've grown into a grassroots organization and become an essential part of their community. Keep Collingwood Clean has now collected over 2,400 lbs of cigarette waste to recycle with TerraCycle, keeping it out of landfills and incinerators and giving the plastics inside the butts a new life through recycling—a great example of how small, individual action can make a big difference for our planet.
