N SHOP OUR STORY FIND US RECIPES RIDASAUCE ¢y " 2021 Your breakfast taco awaits... We figured it was about time we re-introduced you to one of our favorite savory breakfast bites. Introducing Mel Chmilar Jr. aka @darksideofthegrill's - Ultimate Breakfast Taco - our spirit animal. This savory, flavorful bite combines melted Mexican Cheese, hearty cuts of steak, a perfectly runny egg, diced white onions, and a splash of our original Breakfast Sauce to start your day off with a bang! But don’t take our word for it - go big this weekend by picking up your taco essentials along with some Breakfast Sauce at one of our incredible local dealers. Cheers, Bear & Burton Mel's Ultimate Breakfast Taco Recipe WHAT YOU’LL NEED * Your favorite cut of steak (Mel recommends blade cuts, our team likes skirt, tri-tip, or whatever is left over in the fridge!) * Eggs * Your favorite brand of street taco tortilla * 1 white onion * Cheese of choice (we like cotija or freshly shredded pepper jack) * 1 Bottle - Bear & Burton’s Breakfast Sauce or Breakfast Sauce Too * Bear & Burton's x RC Ranch Wagyu Beef Tallow (trust us) ASSEMBLY * Season steak and allow it to come to room temp. Sear steak to get a nice crust on all sides before removing from heat and allowing to rest. Cook to temperature preference in oven or grill. Allow to rest on cutting board before slicing. * Crack eggs one at a time, flipping once to seal in the perfect, runny yolk. Once cooked to preference, remove from heat and set aside.  * In a bowl, shred or crumble your favorite Mexican cheese (pro tip: we recommend using a grater on a block of fresh pepper jack…melts easier…tastes better)  * Rough cut or finely cut onion (use a ball or wet paper towel on your cutting board to avoid the water works) and set aside. * TORTILLA TIME! Take 1 spoonful of tallow to your skillet or griddle and let it melt. Add tortillas and fry for about 20-30 seconds before flipping. You are looking for a little color and the tortillas to puff. Top with cheese before the last flip and allow it melt. Once cooked to your liking, remove from heat and set aside on a paper towel.  * ASSEMBLY TIME! Top your cheesy tortilla with diced steak, runny egg, Breakfast Sauce, more cheese, white onion…and more breakfast sauce. Cut that yolk open allowing it to cover your steak, cheese, and onions…and enjoy that first bite! ...
