Seriously, it’s like a competition to see who can confuse us the most. 😕  TODAY’S WORD: MEV (MINER EXTRACABLE VALUE) Think of MEV as the legal loophole miners (or validators) use to line their pockets by reshuffling transactions. Imagine you’re about to snag that hot new token before it moons, but the miner sees your juicy trade and decides to sneak in ahead of you. 🍋  They buy the token first, causing the price to spike, then flip it right back to you at a higher price—before your trade even goes through. All perfectly legal, just utterly ruthless. It’s like being at an auction for a rare collectible. You’re about to place your bid, but the auctioneer (who also owns the item) secretly bids just before you, inflating the price, and then sells it back to you at a higher cost. You still get the item, but the auctioneer just made a quick profit off your excitement. 🪛  Here’s the breakdown: * Arbitrage MEV: Profiting off price differences across exchanges like a middleman who knows how to squeeze every penny out of your ignorance. * Sandwich Attacks: Inserting a transaction before and after someone else's to pump or dump the price and make bank in the middle. * Front-running: Cutting the line to secure a better deal before your trade goes through—like snatching the last discounted PS5 before you can.
