Here are a few stories that show what it truly means to be a nurse.

Magician
A nurse on a pediatric floor helped take away the stress of getting shots by turning the experience into a magic show for the
kids.
Holiday Cheer
A set of NICU nurses took special Christmas pictures of NICU babies in Christmas costumes and shared them with the baby's
families. It helped the parents during that scary time.
Escape From The Pain
A nurse shared their special talent of singing to help put patients at ease. For the patients, they could pretend - for a moment
- that they were someplace else entirely.
Support for Patients AND their Families
A nurse noticed that her patient's son was actually having a heart attack while visiting his mother one day. She intervened, and
they were able to catch what was going on.
Nurses help and care in more ways than can be put into words. I can't wait to see what type of nurses you will all turn out to
be!
