Dear Readers,
After almost 14 years of highlighting Israel’s innovation, we must step back from NoCamels due to funding constraints.
NoCamels was created as part of the Asper Institute for New Media Diplomacy at Reichman University, with a vision to share Israel’s impact on the world through science and technology innovation.
Over the years, we’ve celebrated the achievements of brilliant Israeli minds in technology and science, from revolutionary medical breakthroughs to sustainable tech solutions addressing global challenges.
NoCamels has spotlighted AI advancements, social impact initiatives, and
green technologies—each story a testament to the innovation and dedication of Israel’s thinkers and visionaries.
This journey would not have been possible without the support of the Asper Foundation, Reichman University, Prof. Noam Lemelshtrich Latar, Jonathan Davis, Rona Zahavi, Sara Miller and the many Reichman University students who gave their time and talents to bring NoCamels to life.
We’re grateful to everyone who contributed to NoCamels and to our global readers who followed and celebrated these milestones with us.
Though our operations are pausing, our website will remain accessible, and we hope to resume in the future. Israeli innovation is strong and continues to inspire meaningful change that benefits millions across the globe, providing a beacon of light and a source of hope.
In the meantime, I’d love to stay connected with our readers through my podcast, RAW, where I interview leading philosophers, psychologists, activists, and spiritual leaders about the internal battles many of us are navigating alongside Israel’s external ones, and how to navigate these
times with wisdom and resilience. You can find out more about the podcast and my newsletter at WithAnouk.com.
Thank you for being a vital part of our story and for believing in NoCamels.
Until we meet again,
Warm regards,
Anouk Lorie
