Are you on TikTok? You should be.

TikTok is becoming an increasingly popular channel for users and advertisers. According to Statista by 2025 TikTok will be closing in on 1 billion users globally. With the introduction of TikTok Shopping brands will be looking to get the most out of their existing audiences and buyers.

Our team recently dropped a new connection offering advertisers and ecommerce managers a direct connection from their Shopify store to TikTok. We anticipate that the take-up will be slow like what we’ve seen with Facebook CAPI. That is because most brands are not willing to test or change their strategy while running campaigns or simply don’t know there is an automated solution for this problem.

Another gauge is ad revenue which has been forecasted to surpass $23 billion by 2024. This should be a signal to all marketers that TikTok is no longer a channel to experiment with—the competition is heating up—start plotting your campaigns now if you haven’t already.

With new sales channels and tools being added daily how can brands stay ahead of the data curve? Without Littledata you are likely experiencing incomplete sales and marketing data, shown in the above illustration.

It’s tempting to grab and use the analytics available in your ecommerce platform but without server-side tracking or deep integrations with tools like upsell, engagement, or subscription apps, etc., natively reported analytics can often miss the mark.

Without data collection and tracking at each stage you could be missing out on key event data that can help your team make more informed decisions. Or build better audiences in the destinations you use like Facebook Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, or Google Ads.
