There is a green citrus fruit know as shikuwasa in Okinawa. Here the shikuwasa, bathed in the tropical sun of Okinawa, is combined with sea salt from Ishigaki Island, the southernmost island of the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa (which also happens to be the hometown of our co-founder, Aki Sugiyama’s, family!). Together they create a taste and aroma that is reminiscent of summertime in Okinawa and a seasoning that was awarded an official recommendation from Okinawa Prefecture.
