Announcement re The Pricing Seminar

Jonathan Stark sent this email to their subscribers on September 7, 2024.

As you may have noticed, the next session of The Pricing Seminar is scheduled to start on Monday.

Normally, registration for TPS opens a week before lessons begin so several alert readers have emailed to ask if they had missed the announcement.

The answer is:

Nope! You haven’t missed anything.

So... what’s going on?

I’m making a big change to TPS this time around, and it took a little longer than I expected to work out some of the details.

What is changing?

The Pricing Seminar now going to be a self-paced course instead of a cohort-based workshop.

Why the move away from cohort-based?

The cohort-based learning model has proven VERY effective for my workshops that are only a week or two long, but TPS is 12 weeks, and the group really starts to spread out around week four.

What typically happens is that a small percentage of students keep up with the material, and then everyone else feels like they’re falling behind and doing a bad job.

Not helpful :-(

BONUS: Choose your own adventure

A benefit of switching to a self-paced model is that students will be able to jump straight to the modules that are most important to their business at the moment.

Since modules inside of TPS are independent of each other, there’s no particular advantage to running through them in order. It’s more like a reference library where you can pick and choose what you want to learn next.

BONUS: Much more affordable

Maybe best of all, migrating away from the cohort-based model means that I can make the TPS material accessible to way more people by lowering the price dramatically.

Sweet!

Last time around, The Pricing Seminar was $745.

With the new self-paced version, there are two price options:

1) FREE!–The self-paced TPS lessons will launch for FREE to members of my Ditcherville Community.

I have added a #tps channel to the Ditcherville Slack, so folks going through the material can ask questions and compare notes with each other, regardless of which module they’re working on.

Join Ditcherville now to get FREE access to The Pricing Seminar Lessons starting on Monday.

2) $147—If you don’t mind having nobody to talk to about the material and want to go through the lessons on your own, you can buy “just the lessons” starting on Monday.

I am going to email the purchase link out at 9:00am ET on Monday, September 9th, and you can get instant access to all of the lessons at once on one epic web page :-)

Questions?

That’s all I can think of for now, but I’m sure I missed something.

If you have a question, just hit reply... I’m here to help :-)

Yours,

—J
