IL Video Evaluation: Spring Is Here. How Do You Stack Up?LR ARE Y(Ill q
After nearly 20 years of ranking players, IL scouts began evaluating prospects on a 0-100 scale in 2016. Since then, more than
5,000 evaluations have been entered into the IL Recruiting Database, assessing players against their peers on attributes like
speed, skill and IQ.
Now, IL is evolving and opening access to our video evaluations even wider.
NCAA Rule Proposals: Tweaks to Face-Off Mechanic, Adjudicating Violations & Video Review
The NCAA Rules Committee made recommendations at its meetings in Indianapolis this week — notably some tweaks to the video review
and changes to officiating the face-offs.
The changes were far less drastic than some posed this winter at the IMLCA Coaches Convention that drew much discussion.

It didn’t take a genius to realize Notre Dame was going to have a special season, so it’s no surprise our preseason predictions
were full of Gold (though maybe not as full as they should have been). From there, it’s a mixed bag.
Navy to Name High Point’s Broschart as Next Offensive Coordinator
Ken Broschart will be named Navy’s next offensive coordinator, multiple sources confirmed to Inside Lacrosse on Tuesday night.
Broschart replaces Dave Cottle, who spent one season in Annapolis after being hired in December to replace Michael Phipps. He
joins the Midshipmen after spending seven seasons at High Point, where he helped the Panthers to a SoCon championship and NCAA
Tournament appearance in 2021.
Last Night: Northmen Keep the Offense Coming in Win Over Lakers
The Orangeville Northmen won't be perfect this year, but they are starting to get on a bit of a roll.
The Northmen beat the Peterborough Lakers 14-10 at home Tuesday night. It was their third win in four games, and they have scored
14 goals in each of those wins. That level of productivity looks more like Orangeville enjoyed last summer.

Garden City (N.Y.) drops from No. 3 to No. 13 after an unexpected loss to West Islip (N.Y.). West Islip, a team Garden City beat
by 10 goals a year ago, will now travel north to take on No. 24 Victor (N.Y.) in the NYS Class B Semifinal game. No. 13 Sayville
(N.Y.) continues its win streak, downing Wantagh (N.Y.) 12-4 to advance to the NYS Class C Semifinals on June 7.

Izzy Scane Wins 2024 Tewaaraton Award, Goes Back to Back
Back-to-back.
Northwestern's Izzy Scane is once again the recipient of the sport's preeminent individual honor.
She was selected out of a group that included her teammate and heir apparent for the Wildcats in Madison Taylor, plus Loyola’s
Chase Boyle, Stony Brook’s Ellie Masera and Notre Dame’s Jackie Wolak.
Scane is the all-time goal leader in NCAA history. She led the Wildcats back to the top of the mountain in 2023, then back to the
championship game this season.
Pat Kavanagh Wins 2024 Tewaaraton Award
Pat Kavanagh the 2024 Men's Tewaaraton Award winner.
He was selected in an award ceremony Thursday night in Washington, D.C., rising among a group of five finalists.
Kavanagh, a returning finalist, was selected out of the group that included teammate Liam Entenmann, Duke’s Brennan O’Neill,
Virginia’s Connor Shellenberger and Yale’s Matt Brandau.
The honor continues an incredible week for the Kavanagh family.

Seasons have come to a close and, for some, that means looking for a fresh start. Whether it be for athletic, academic, geographic
or social reasons, a handful of student-athletes from across the country have entered the transfer portal to find a new home while
the college coaches utilize the portal to replace or enhance their rosters from the previous year.
Our IL Team will be updating the running list periodically over the summer, updating on both players added and where they're
headed.

and it ends with Tufts hoisting the title and top ranking on Memorial Day Weekend.
Scane, Shue, Porcello Named IWLCA's Players of the Year
The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association announced Izzy Scane as the Player of the Year.
The organization's selection committee chose Scane along with three other positional players of the year in Chase Boyle, Sydney
Scales and Erin O'Grady.
Men's DII Rankings: Adelphi Gets the Most Important No. 1 — the Final One
Adelphi may not have been No. 1 all year in any ranking.
That’s where they finish after hoisting the NCAA Championship trophy on Sunday.
Ran it Back: Fighting Irish End 2024 No. 1 in Inside Lacrosse Men's DI Media Poll
They didn't go wire-to-wire, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish entered the 2024 season as the defending champs and No. 1-ranked
team in the Preseason Media Poll, and that's where they finished after a dominating performance in Monday's Division I NCAA
Championship Game.
ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll: Boston College Comes Back to Clinch Second Title
Boston College is the NCAA Champion for the second time in program history. The Eagles ran through Syracuse and Northwestern in
the semifinal and championship rounds, respectively, most notably overcoming a 0-6 deficit in the title game.
They finish No. 1 in the final ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll.
ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Poll: Tampa Storms Past Adelphi For First-Ever Championship
A first-time champion has been crowned, as Tampa topped Adelphi in the title game on Saturday afternoon. They locked up the
trophy, and the title of No. 1 in the final ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Poll.
The Spartans avenged its regular season loss to the Panthers, winning 13-8 to clinch the title, led by Sophi Wrisk’s perfect
shooting day, totaling five goals and an assist.
ILWomen/IWLCA Division III Poll: Middlebury Completes Second-Straight Perfect Season
The Middlebury Panthers capped off the 2024 season by securing all 15 first-place votes and once again emerging as the NCAA
Division III National Champions.
Impressively, the Panthers maintained an unbeaten streak, finishing the season with a flawless 23-0 record, replicating their
undefeated success from the previous season.
ILWomen's 2024 DI All-Americans: Scane, Scales, O'Grady Headline First Team
Inside Lacrosse is proud to announce the 2024 Women's DI All-Americans, as 31 different programs are represented the list of
First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention players.
Boston College and Northwestern lead the list with seven and six players, respectively.
The first team is veteran heavy, with nine players finishing their final seasons this May. Juniors Erin O'Grady and Chase Boyle
and sophomore Madison Taylor are the lone players who will return next spring.

There was one unanimous first-team selection in the year-end voting for the 2024 IL Media All-Americans: Maryland defenseman Ajax
Zappitello.
