Joint Operations Group Program Manager (WMS2) Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced Joint Operations Group Program Manager to join the Transportation Operations Division in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for building and fostering interagency cooperation, optimizing resource utilization, and improving emergency response and incident management across the transportation network. The Joint Operations Group Program Manager oversees the implementation of policies, programs, and activities focused on maximizing the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the existing transportation system. Reporting to the Incident Management Program Manager, this position serves as lead expert for WSDOT's development and implementation of the Joint Operations Group program statewide. The Joint Operations Groups include WSDOT Traffic Management Centers, Emergency Management personnel, and local agency partners such as Fire, emergency medical services, law enforcement, county and city public works agencies, towing services, private companies, ports, tribes, and rail. Expertise in transportation operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement will ensure effective communication, seamless coordination, and the successful execution of the Joint Operations Group.
