This was in response to a tweet from Vice President Kamala Harris supporting the reinstatement of an assault weapons ban.
Once again, the NRA is stoking fear and weaponizing the Constitution of the United States. They love to spread the lie that
preventing gun violence and the Constitution are incompatible.
Even though assault weapons have been used in seven of the deadliest mass shootings between the years of 2010 to 2020, the NRA
still believes that these weapons belong on our streets and in every home.
The NRA only cares about gunmaker profits (and using nonprofit donations to line their own pockets.) They don’t care about the
safety of our communities.
We won’t stand for this, and it’s why we’re working hard to beat NRA-backed politicians—Donald Trump on down—at the ballot box
this November.
