Eagle, ask anyone who knows me—
They’ll tell you I’m a risk taker,
And while it’s true…
It wasn’t always this way.
For most of my life, I was the exact opposite.
I was just like everybody else—
I played small, and I stayed small.
I never left my “safe harbor”.
I just treaded water there…
Because I feared the deep… the unknown…
I feared risk.
Then, one day, something much scarier visited me there:
Regret
It absolutely terrified me…
So I changed.
I swam for the open water,
And I never looked back at my safe harbor.
I embraced a life of personal and professional risk…
Because I couldn’t fathom a life of regret.
I want the same for you, Eagle.
I want you to have the courage to take your risks, earn your rewards…
And never know your regret.
So, I have a question for you today…
What risk have you avoided for days, months… or years?
Get it off your chest, and face your fear.
Reply to me here and let’s talk it out.
It stays between us.
Looking forward to your reply,
Joey
