Hey, I’ve got a short but important note for you on this Veteran’s Day. First things first, I do believe that everybody has the
best intentions when they say this:
“Thank you for your service”
But the Veterans I know don’t want to hear this canned statement. It’s been repurposed and regurgitated way too often. And the
truth is… some people who say it aren’t really living it.
Gratitude is an action.
If you’re thankful for something or someone, you don’t only say it with words. You show it with work.
We chose to manufacture FWH apparel and fightwear in America for that very reason. To honor the sacrifices of our Veterans— the
time they’ve spent away from their families, the time they’ve spent in chaos, the time they’ve spent giving everything they can
without a promise of getting anything in return.
We also offer our Military (and First Responders) discount on all FWH gear all year round, not just when it’s convenient or
customary.
Those are two of many actions that FWH takes to show our gratitude.
Me?
Today, I'm out here on the hunt— working hard and praying hard, soaking up every ounce of freedom given to me, and then turning
around and emptying the f—king tank at FWH HQ, the gym, and home.
What work will you do this Veteran’s Day to match your words?
Talk soon,
Joey
