Everybody Wants To Eat But Few Will Hunt MEN WOMEN $25 TEES $47 RASH GUARDS (Psst: There’s a surprise at the end of this e-mail. Stop. Do not do something to miss it!) Full disclosure, Few Will Hunt. I do A LOT each week. Between FWH, family, and fitness, I rarely rest. (Other than proper sleep, of course!) That’s the way I like it. It gives me power over my circumstances… no matter how tough they seem. However, of all the stuff I do, a “few” key things I do not do each week are the real secrets to my success. For today’s 3 The Hard Way, let’s talk about them! The Quick from me: What if I told you that you can do more by doing less each week? No, this isn’t some shortcut, hack, or 4-hour work week. I call it “addition by subtraction”. Add actions that produce worth by subtracting worthless actions. Simply put, my not-to-do list is more important than my to-do list. Here are the top three things that I do not do each week to instill more worth in our community, my family, and myself: 1. I do not focus on what I can’t control This is why I don’t watch the news… or much TV at all. So, how do you not focus on what you can’t control? Make a list of what you CAN control… and execute it ruthlessly each day of the week. 2. I do not focus on what I do not have (yet) I think about what I think about. I do not let thoughts of lack or limitation bounce around in my brain. I only plant thoughts of abundance and action in my grey matter for growth. It ain’t about “what if this doesn’t work out for me?”— it’s about “imagine when this works out better than you ever thought it would.” (Look, I know what you’re thinking. Our circumstances, critics, and challenges do not make this thinking easy for us, but you know what they say about easy…) 3. I do not focus on the past What’s done is done. I can’t change the past, but I can change the future by being my best, action-oriented self in the present. Honestly, I even avoid the temptation of looking too far into the future. I find that it actually brings up thoughts of my past as my mind naturally tries to remap where I’ve been to determine how I will get where I want to go. In short, progress only exists in the present. Make your default action… action. The Quote from Alan Cohen: Do not wait until the conditions are perfect to begin. Beginning makes the conditions perfect. The Question for you today: You know what’s on your to-do list today… but what is on your not-to-do list today? A Surprise For You! What’s one more thing that I do not do? Take your attention for granted. You’ll probably never know how grateful I am that you read my community e-mails. I don’t have the words (yet) to describe the immensity of it. As a small token of my big gratitude, here’s very first access to our drop tomorrow.
