Hi Anonymous,

I've been using our new tools lately a lot.

There's no bigger tester and user than me.

Using them constantly and seeing them in action gets me really excited about all the possibilities. For our users and our platform in the future!

We are determined at Enterprise DNA to lead the way in new methods of mastering tools and skills. I said it all last year and we are really doing it.

Here's a few examples of how I've been learning new things, being more productive and taking my data skills to another level.

Are you stuck on something?

I was last week.

I forgot how to use the NO CALCULATE method of DAX that Brian Julius has made famous while at Enterprise DNA and now calls out a lot over on LinkedIn.

It's a truly revolutionary way of writing DAX.

Yes it's maybe a little more advanced as it's different to the normal theory out there, so it can be harder to retain sometimes.

Anyways, I used Data Mentor to remind me how it works and build up a library of code within my 'documents area' about the topic.

If you want to watch a video about this topic on EDNA Learn - check it out here.

Have you ever wanted to quickly extend your understanding of SQL, Python, DAX or Power Query (M) code?

Auditing formulas and getting decent documentation used to be notoriously difficult.

I've been building comprehensive knowledge bases of info in 'Libraries' I've creating in Data Mentor.

Check out my current folders below for all my queries.

If you asked me in 2022 would I be able to learn and retain this much, this quick, I wouldn't have believed you.

AI has really changed the game IMO.

And this is all built into our product suite as part of your subscription!

(Note - except premium tiers of Data Mentor)

Have you forgotten how a specific DAX function works in a certain context?

Even I forget sometimes, trust me.

But I don't overthink it anymore. I use EDNA AI or Data Mentor to assist with my understanding very quickly.

I've even found myself using the Q&A feature in EDNA AI to confirm my knowledge around a few of the more advanced DAX functions in the last couple of weeks.

Make sure to try out our best AI models and click on 'Ultra AI'

This is revolutionary for information discovery and learning.

Just try it a couple of times and you'll see.

By the way.....reply to this email if there is a style of learning that you enjoy, that we could add to EDNA AI. We want to hear from you.

Have you ever just wanted your instructor to answer one of your questions about course content?

We have enabled a way for you to do this!

We've trained EDNA AI on every one of our courses and you can ask about any detail in any course using the 'Ask and Learn' feature.

See below.

This is amazing tech and functionality.

This wasn't even feasible 6 months ago in the quality we are seeing now..

Click into any course and start a conversation.

We're about to launch some Microsoft Fabric courses!

We've had a number reach out about this.

So we have been working in behind the scenes to get these structured courses ready for release along with some other batches of data related content.

I'll keep you updated on this and much more.

All the best.

Sam
