It wasn’t a good weekend for the city’s baseball teams.
The Cubs lost three of four to the Dodgers, capped by a 7-3 defeat Sunday at Wrigley Field in advance of a three-game series
against the Padres beginning Tuesday.
The White Sox, meanwhile, were swept in a three-game series against the scorching Rays in St. Petersburg, Fla., losing 4-1 Sunday
after walk-off losses Friday and Saturday. The Sox have lost nine of 11 and are 7-15.
