20 YEARS of CATBIRD LET’S CELEBRATE! Happy Birthday to US! Over the past two decades, we have pioneered a philosophy around Jewelry as Poetry — we believe that all jewelry can and should be worn every day. We’ve created a rag tag family of over 250 spanning our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio & HQ and 4 stores (with more to come!). Over 35% of our team is BIPOC, and we recycle solid gold and diamonds — this commitment to our community and planet remains our North Star. The Catbird Giving Fund has donated over $2M donated to our nonprofit partners spreading equity and opportunity for all. 20 years later, we’re still starry-eyed, and our names are dreaming way through just getting started. It’s a journey where I hope we’ll all take our children by our hands one day. It all began with a tiny store! 2006 A jewelry revolution is born! Solid gold, sustainable, stackable. 2014 Our strong voice grows: engagements, the Swans, the wild mix. 2015 Rony & Leigh are inducted into the CFDA! 2017 The Catbird Forever Bracelet is here! Over 165,000 wrists have been zapped with recycled 14k gold permanent bracelets. 2018 "We will not throw jewelry away." Built for the stores, I.ERO expands Brooklyn Navy Yard. 2022 We launched our first chapter of The Catbird Stores — go us wack big in our colors. 2023-2024 We closed out our 21st with new stores in LA, Boston, DC, and SF! The Catbird Giving fund surpassing $2M donated (and counting).
