Hello Business Bloomer,
Welcome back to WooWeekly, your weekly appointment with WooCommerce tutorials handpicked for you (and the other 19,314 subscribers!), so that you can learn something new.
Yesterday we got the first few hours of rain since the end of June. Sicily has been having water shortage problems for the whole summer, with obvious worries for tourists, farmers and residents - a few hours won't fix it but at least I hope to see less water tankers on the streets!
Other than that, I've been working hard on the rewording and redesign of my Business Bloomer homepage, hoping to convey a better message to the correct audience. Would you have 5 minutes to give me some feedback on that please (I'm happy to hear bad feedback as well so don't be shy/afraid)? This is so I can understand if my message is clear or not, and if I missed anything.
Anyhow... here's your weekly round-up of WooCommerce tips and tricks. Enjoy!

WooCommerce Tips
Yes, you can manually change the product quantities to 0 on the cart page, or click on the “remove item” icon for each product… but having a button that can do all that could be a time saver, especially for B2B WooCommerce customers. [Business Bloomer]
The old process of asking for a quote on the WooCommerce Single Product page is as slow as molasses. Enter the WooCommerce product configurator world. This crucial tool automates the quoting process. It’s like upgrading from a typewriter to a laptop but for your quoting game. [Business Bloomer]
As a restaurant owner, if you’re constantly mulling over ways to increase your restaurant sales, you’re headed in the right direction. But, implementing ideas with an action plan can provide the structure and focus required to streamline and turn those ideas into tangible results. [Orderable]
As a WooCommerce store owner, you’ll probably want to give your customers a better experience by improving the My Account Page visually. Thankfully, you don’t need to be a coding expert, as there are a variety of different plugins available. In this post, we’ll take a look at some of those plugins, and walk you through setting up one yourself. [Convesio]
Custom pricing in WooCommerce refers to the ability to set flexible prices for products based on specific criteria or user inputs. For example, you can allow customers to name their prices for digital products, offer personalized discounts for loyal customers, or implement tiered pricing for wholesale buyers. [Studio Wombat]

ICYMI: WooCommerce Snippets
Whether you’re dealing with bulky items, fragile goods, or specific shipping items, you can leverage WooCommerce flexibility and dynamically add checkout fees based on whether a given shipping class is in the cart. [Business Bloomer]
Are free products cluttering your WooCommerce store? Or are they so many, that you have no intention of manually setting them to “catalog visibility: hidden” one by one and need a proper shortcut? Discover how to strategically hide $0 products from the shop / category / archive pages using WooCommerce custom code – enjoy! [Business Bloomer]
Adding a custom field to your WooCommerce checkout is a breeze. But while you can easily view the custom field data in the backend, editing it directly from the order admin is a frustratingly locked feature. Luckily, a bit of custom code can fix this, giving you the flexibility and control you need to manage your orders effectively. [Business Bloomer]
Often, you might need to find a specific customer’s information, but all you have is their email address. For example, on Business Bloomer, I have custom contact forms that give me a name and an email address upon submit. What if I need to check if the email address is an existing WooCommerce customer who has placed some orders? [Business Bloomer]
The problem is that if your site gets a lot of spam comments, you might be bombarded with emails. Even with legitimate comments, constant notifications can be overwhelming. So what if we disable WordPress comment notifications all together, while we keep them enabled for WooCommerce product reviews only? [Business Bloomer]
I’ve put together a visual hook guide for the WooCommerce Cart Block. Please note – as of the date above, you can’t really customize the Cart Block via PHP - if you need to personalize the Cart page, move elements around, hide default elements, add custom content, you can play on the Edit Page and do the usual manual work with blocks. But if you wish to do that via code (custom plugin, snippet, child theme), then you must revert to the shortcode version – unless you get to understand my workaround provided within this visual hook guide. [Business Bloomer]
Upsells are a powerful tool, but manually entering them via the Edit Product page can be tedious. This tutorial dives into the world of programmatic WooCommerce product upsells, empowering you to leverage code for a dynamic and data-driven upsell strategy. [Business Bloomer]
This approach might be relevant for specific promotional offers (e.g. BOGO) or custom coded product bundles. In this case, you may want to remove a second item from the cart – programmatically – once a product is removed. [Business Bloomer]
