PLAN FOR INTERMITTENT LANE RESTRICTIONS ALONG INTERSTATE 8 CROSSOVER ROADS IN YUMA AUG. 12
DRIVERS SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS AND ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for intermittent lane restrictions along Interstate 8
crossover roads in Yuma while maintenance crews repair the sidewalk.
The following daytime closures will occur on Monday, Aug. 12:
* Southbound Pacific Avenue will be reduced to one lane between the I-8 overpass and 18th Street from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
* Northbound Araby Road will be reduced to one lane between 32nd Street to 30th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
* Southbound Fortuna Road will be reduced to one lane between the I-8 overpass and South Frontage road between noon to 3 p.m.
* A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
Delays are likely, so travelers should allow extra travel time. Drivers should obey posted speed limits and traffic control
devices and use caution around construction personnel.
