Iran fired missiles towards Israel, according to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), according to media reports. Sirens sounded across Israel as regional conflict escalated, following which the IDF urged people to "remain alert and precisely follow the home front command’s instructions."

In other news, the UAE Federal Tax Authority recently extended the deadline for filing Corporate Tax Returns to December 31. This applies to tax periods ending on or before February 29, 2024. The extension aims to help companies adapt to the new tax system.

On the real estate front, RAK Properties announced a new partnership expansion with Minor Hotels, to introduce Anantara Branded Residences to Mina al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah. The agreement was signed during the Future Hospitality Summit. The development will include approximately 94 residential apartments and 20 overwater villas, and residents will have access to amenities such as private infinity pools, expansive terraces, and direct access to the shoreline.

Meanwhile, on the latest episode of the AB Majlis podcast, personal branding expert Kelly Lundberg shared insights on how consistency is the key factor in personal branding. “It is the one thing that people fall down on,” Lundberg said, discussing the most impactful daily habit for personal branding. Aside from this, British rock band Coldplay announced plans to retire in 2025. The band, who will perform in Abu Dhabi in January, revealed this during a recent conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
