With our own signature machined stainless steel sleeves, this safety squat bar sets another new standard in the category. We like to squat here at American Barbell and we've recognized the need for a powerfully built ssb that has improved on the competition. Weighing in at 76 pounds, this ideally-angled bar can just about sit on your shoulders without touching it (don’t do that at home, just saying). We made a slightly wider neck opening and allowed for a more precise hand position with the handles. It also has a finish that looks cool while it will not get chipped or cracked. Whether you have a shoulder issue or just want to get a little more posterior chain engaged, this bar checks all the boxes! THE PERFORMANCE STATION The Performance Station is the swiss army knife version of the rack and platform combination. It's the Performance Station. Its like playing legos. We can add, bolt, join and make just about anything you can dream. Why the Performance Station?  The rack-platform ensemble is the new destination in the gym. It used to be that you’d have one person (athlete) on the platform with a bar doing weightlifting movements. Now, this area can serve more than one person and provide a wide variety of programming options with numerous training tools, not just a straight bar.  This station, if customized and done right, can train someone from head to toe and they never have to leave the station – true performance.
